December 2010 Moms

Beta results- Sorry if this is a FAQ...

Hi ladies. Yesterday I had 1 little episode of extremely light spotting. It was after I went to the bathroom- no pain or cramping at all. I called my doc and he asked me to come in to get blood work done, because I do have endo and I just had a lap done in December.

Well, they called me this AM and said my HCG is @ 2575... I'm 2 days shy of being 5wks. They said it's not alarmingly high, but they want me to recheck Friday and do an early ultrasound then.

My questions is, have any of you had numbers like that? And while it may not be high enough to signal a molar pregnancy- do higher numbers correlate to multiples? TIA for your input!

Hi there.  High numbers do not correlate to multiples and vary greatly.  There is a website, I think it's betabase.info that can show you the wide range.

    GL!

    That is indeed the website!

Is there a chance you are further along than you thought?

Awesome website, thanks! I was googling away and everything I was finding was contradictory. Thanks again!

I definitely don't think I'm further along than I thought... my LMP was 03/04 and I used ovulation tests this cycle, my + was on 03/17... my first + hpt was 03/26 (light +)...but I looked at that site and it definitely shows more of a range than the other sites I was finding shows.
