Hey girls! Beware!

 There's a site called SPOKEO.COM and it's an online phone book that has a picture of your house, credit score, profession, age, how many people live in the house, spouse info. Remove yourself clicking on the Privacy word on the bottom right for further instructions. I personally went to the website and it... is... really there!! COPY & PASTE & REPOST THIS!!! Can you say creepy!!!My information was there under my maiden name, but it still lists my family members' names and some other personal information - address, phone number, etc.  A lot of the information was inaccurate, but for the stuff that was, it really creeped me out!

Eh, I saw this posted last week and checked it out, and it doesn't really concern me.  It's all info that's out there anyway - county records, whitepages.com, etc.

Plus, most of my info was WAY off.  My house was valued at about twice what it's worth, my credit score (which is excellent) was poor, and my astrological sign was wrong.  lol.

I checked it out, and neither DH nor I ccame up when I searched.  I found my FIL (same name as DH), but most of his info was way off anyway.

I looked up mine, and it was definately WAY off! Not concerned about it really. Phone co. is worng, income and home value are wrong. Even the google map shows us as living next door to where we actually live! I wonder where they get their info from!

This was actually kinda hilarious..they had me down as a clerical/service worker whose house is worth over $1M....Nice....The correct info that is posted is public anyways.

This must be their default, because I'm listed as these, too!  Sigh... I guess a little misinformation is good?

I found myself under my maiden name with the address I lived at 6 years ago.  And oh yeah, I'm listed as a GUY!!

HA!  It has my house value at $1m+!  Not quite...don't think there's a $1m+ home in my neighborhood!  And it says my hubby is in his late 70s!  Not sure how accurate this info is...
