baby can barely stay away after nursing!

nursing puts him to sleep- any tips on keeping baby awake after nursing....when he takes a bottle, he is wide awake afterwards, but nursing just makes me go right to sleep!

    I'm not nursing anymore but when I was I had the same problem. The LC told me to get him naked to eat (with a diaper on of course). Then get him dressed when hes done. It did work the couple times I tried it.

    Take his clothes off and when he starts dozing, tickle his feet or gently blow on his face.  That will remind him what he's ont he boob for.  Don't let him use you as a pacifier though.  He'll get used to it and it will be harder for him to know that he's there for 1 reason and 1 reason only...that's to EAT.
