FBI status and timeline (for me)

Received clearance (by me) today, April 7

 

I used real fingerprint cards (completed by local sheriff) as my agency said they work better than livescan fingerprinting (less chance of rejection).

 

Note - i called last week to see where my status was and was told it "was in database but not completed".  She said i should not expect it back til the 13 week mark, which is next month.

I had a heck of a time w/ my finger prints.  The one that finally "worked" were the ones that I got done at the sheriff's department...so I would recommend to others to go there first...they know what they are doing and do it often.  Our others were done w/ our SW at the agency and I just don't think they do it often enough to be pros at it!  I have no experience w/ the electronic fingerprinting though....

I found a website that said this timeline and it scared the bejeebee's out of me. 13 weeks seems like forever!
