I had been having some intense pain in my hands and feet, then it spread to my knees so I made an appointment with the doctor.

She ran some blood tests and the results came back today: I have rheumatoid arthritis.

This sucks.

So sorry!!! I had that as a kid, diagnosed when I was 2.  I still have traces of it in my blood steam. 

At least you know what is causing the pain, and there are ways to treat it.

I'm not sure yet. My doctor referred me to a rheumatologist so I don't know what treatment options I have/need yet. My older sister has RA as well and she went off her meds to get pregnant and had to stay off them while she BF'd as well. She made it 4 months and then had to go back on them.

I am hoping that I can control it in non-medicated ways for the next 10 months...
