How long should I expect a fever?

DD just had her 2 month shots yesterday.  I gave her a couple doses of tylenol just in case she developed a fever, but even this morning she didn't have one and was a happy baby.  I was just feeding her and noticed she was very warm so I took her temp and she does have a mild one, 99.8.  I'm just wondering how many days after the vaccinations I could expect her to possibly spike a fever?  TIA!

Re: How long should I expect a fever?

  • DD had her shots at 1pm, was super fussy and sleepy by 5pm, and was running a mild fever(99.9) at 7pm.  I gave her a dose of tylenol, she crashed and was fussy and lethargic pretty much all night - mostly slept and didn't want to eat too much.  She was back to normal by the next morning around 10am.
