Ergo question - fabric color bleeding?

i just got my black/embroidered ergo and am dying to use it. I am wondering though, if anyone has experienced issues with the dye from the fabric bleeding onto clothing? i have had this happen with a backpack and ruined a shirt. (basically, i got sweaty while wearing the pack and it bled onto my pale grey shirt around the lower back and shoulders.)

if you wash your ergo, does it hold up well? maybe i will just give it a wash on cold/gentle to be on the safe side...

I have the chocolate and camel organic one, and I have never had it bleed on my clothes.  I have also sweat a fair amount in it, as I live in FL plus we have done a few trips to Disney with it.  I have washed it twice on gentle and it has come out looking great.
