Joined a Mom's group!

I found a local Mom's group on Meetup.com and went to a Mom's Night Out at the Melting Pot last night.  I was so nervous to go, since I had never met any of the women, but I ended up having a great time, and now have playgroups to go to with the kids!  I am so glad I came out of my shell for once and met some new people.

I have organized a mommy group on meetup.com for 3 1/2 years now! There are about 30 women and we have all become best freinds! Our kids have grown up together too. Starting that mommy group was the best thing I have ever done! Keeps me sane and my kids entertained.

Good for you!  I wish I could get up the courage to do that so I could meet some new people!

I too would love to join a moms group. I didnt know how to go about finding one. I just tried to go onto meetup.com but the sight isn't working. I will have to try later.  I am in Amesbury, MA. Where is the moms group you joined?
