Our well water tested positive for nitrates, so when I was pregnant DH installed a reverse osmosis water filtration system. I use that. As far as I know, like pp said, as long as it is city water, no boiling should be necessary. Ask your pedi or call your pedi's nurse if you want to be sure.

We have well water and a reverse osmosis system as well.
We used to boil tap water until DD turned 2mo. Then our doctor said boiling water and sterilizing bottles wasn't necessary anymore. He said boiling water is more for people who use well water or other sub-par living conditions.
Re: FF'ers: Water question
Yep! That's what we do. I was told from my Dr to use tap water because it has flouride in it. But make sure you boil it first and cool in the fridge:)
