One of our Bumpies, Taylnn teaches them. It wasn't for me, but she loved it and continued with a career in it. You can page her, and I am sure she will give you her email address and/or number.

my mother, sister and sister-in-law have all done bradley successfully. Bradley grads have something like a 94% sucess rate for going natural.
That being said, I am a labor and delivery nurse and appreciate natural childbirth but don't agree with some of the philosophy taught in the classes. The hospital is not your enemy, nor are the nurses. SOME instructors have this attitude.
Take the "childbirth" lessons, forget the philosophy and you should be sucessful.
Here is a post from a week or so ago that had some nice Bradley birth stories in it. The OP was from WPB so kind of close to you.
Personally I really enjoyed taking classes with my DH. We learned so much and actually bonded even closer. If you ever have any questions, just ask. I would love to help another bumpie.
Good luck to you!

I totally understand what you are saying as a L&D nurse. I imagine you have dealt with some very difficult patients. You probably have some great tips for effectively working with the medical staff!
Bradley's philosophy is that most women can give birth naturally with the proper education, preparation and support. It also teaches women to tune into their bodies and to use natural breathing.
Part of that education is positive communications with your healthcare team. You want your nurses and doctor on your side! They are not the enemy.

There are some great Bradley teachers up north in your area.
