Ugh, I'm gagging when I swallow pills. I'm taking my prenatal vitamin and a DHA pill every day, but now I'm taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection. I don't usually have trouble swallowing pills, but I gag and puke most of the time now. I'm worried the antibiotic and vitamins aren't doing me any good since they're coming right back up. This is something that started a few days ago.
Did you have trouble toward the end of 1st tri, and if so, did it get better?

I gagged on toothpaste EVERY time I brushed my teeth for all 9 months. No advice- I just had to work through it.
GOOD LUCK!
It's the size of the pills. The DHA especially, which strangely didn't bother me until I started taking the antibiotic (which is a huge pill, too). I'm always taking them with food, but I haven't tried milk. I'll try that tonight. DH has been cutting the antiobiotic in half for me, but I don't know what to do about the DHA. I skipped it last night because I didn't want to throw up the other pills.
Ooh, good question. I'll have to see what I can find!
How about taking them at seperate times? If the antibiotic is in the AM, then take the vitamins before going to bed, or vice versa!
