Where do you buy shorts?

I need mom shorts.  Well, shorts appropriate for a mother - decent casual ones.  I hate all the ones I own, which generally are from Old Navy and fit like crap.  Link me to the ones you'd order / buy, please.  I look ridiculous.

Our Gap outlet had really cute bermuda shorts last year that I bought.  I also get them at our JCrew outlet.

I really like the way the GAP ones fit versus the Old Navy ones too.

haven't bought any yet for this summer but last summer I found some at Target, Pennys and Kohls.  Might have gotten some from GAP or ON but can't remember for sure.
