Well, ladies, this is it.

The long awaited move has arrived. The cars get packed up tomorrow morning (I transport the kids, my mom gets the cats. I think I get the better end of that deal.)

We close on the new house Tuesday morning, and the truck of stuff arrives sometime later in the week. Holy moly, I thought this day would never come.

Now of course, the kids are both so hopped up on chocolate that neither of them wants to sleep...

Mom is transporting on this trip. Now that we are out of her house, she can put it on the market-- not cool to have a house full of kid stuff in a 55+ community. LOL

She'll move up when she sells her place, into her OWN house, not ours.

Congrats!  Hopefully tomorrow will be quick and relatively smooth.  And yay that you can reclaim your own house with just your H and kiddos....not that your mom hasn't been a huge help, I'm sure she was, but it will be so nice to have separate spaces.
