I'm an adoption social worker with plans to adopt sometime in our future...and one of the families I work with recommended a book that I just loved and I thought maybe someone on here would also appreciate it. It's called "Adopted for Life" by Russell Moore. He is an adoptive father and weaves in his real life experience with the all the biblical basis of our own adoption as children of God. The family said they passed the book around to family members and it helped them be much more supportive of their decision to adopt...I thought that was a GREAT idea because I know often the parents feel the call to adopt but it takes some help to get friends and family members on board, too.
