I haven't heard of a service like that, but it has been a while since I researched diaper service. Honestly, if that were available here I would not do it. I haven't found the laundry part of caring for diapers to be bad at all, so I'd rather do it myself - and I'd be worried they'd lose my diapers. There are certainly circumstances where this might be a good idea, though. GL!

We don't have a program like that around here - just a classic diaper service where you use their diapers.
I wouldn't do it either - first, I would be afraid I wouldn't get back my exact diapers, and second I would worry they would mess them up. Oh, and I bet it would cost more than the cost of water and detergent at home (I have hardly seen a change in my water bill since CDing).
Diaper laundry is NOT hard. Seriously. It really isn't. it's an extra couple loads of laundry a week. It doesn't stink, it doesn't require you to be a chemist, it doesn't take a seriously long time. Before I was PG I feared diaper laundry, but now I actually look forward to it more than regulr laundry because it's so cute (obviously the fianl clean product). I love taking up the clean wetbag full of diapers and wipes and sorting and stuffing on my daughter's floor while she plays next to me. Much more enjoyable than folding towels or my husband's boxers!
I have a friend who has used the service here in our area that mdjunebride speaks of- there is no cost savings of using it over disposables, and you still have to buy snappis and covers as well I believe. It's only prefolds and they offer 2 sizes. My friend bought most of her diapers 2nd hand through the diaper service and now launders them herself, but she finds the service helpful during the newborn stage. She has commented that the infant size PFs we have from Little Lions are MUCH more absorbent.
I would definitely be concerned about 1) getting my diapers back in decent condition 2) their washing process- I have heard most commercial diaper services use a shitton of bleach.
