My friend is getting her baby in September...

She found out last week that her nearly 4 year wait is almost over. She is getting a 3 yr little girl from China in September.  My other BFF & I are very excited and are already planning the shower! Any ideas for games? Themes? Should we wait until she is here or do it before?

How exiciting for your friend - I bet she is thrilled!

I'd most likely ask her what she is comfortable with. She may be comfortable with a baby shower, or may rather have a sort of coming home party after her child arrives, or may not want either of them. Don't be afraid to ask for her thoughts!

I would ask her opinion on timing and then the Baby Showers board has GREAT resources!

I would definitely ask her what she's comfortable with.  IA almost always work out so doing the shower before she gets here would be ok, but she might want to wait a little while and have a coming home shower where she can show off her daughter.  Congrats to her and good for you for being such a wonderful friend.
