It seems like a few people have posted about upcoming tips to DC, so I wanted to share this.
I went to DC today with friends. I had Ada in the Ergo on my back when we went to the National Gallery. The security guards asked me to move her to my front, because they are worried about little hands touching things without their grown-up noticing. They were really sweet about it and it seemed like a reasonable request. They did offer me a stroller in case I was unable to move her to the front.
Re: BWing in DC- National Gallery
Hmm..I wore kiddo on my back in the National Gallery and a few other museums - no one asked me to move him. Although I can understand the logic I guess.
Of course DH was once scolded by a guard for pointing too closely at the art ;-)
