really 2 one hr GD tests? is this normal

hi ladies..i had a 1hr gd test at 14 weeks since im plus size and i ppassed perfectly..well today at my 25 wk checkup i had 2 do another 1 anyone fail a second one? im all worried as i had no idea this was coming. anyoneelse experience this or know why i had to do it twice?

    It's probably because as your pregnancy goes on you require more and more insulin. So even though you were fine at 14 weeks, you may not be at 25.

    My OB said once you hit 26 weeks, you become more and more insulin resistant.

    24-28 wks is the normal time frame to do it.  They will check earlier too if you fall in a high risk category.

    My doctor tests everyone at 28 weeks so they can catch the most people. It tends to develop by then, but even then they miss some.

    I was done at 20 weeks and then again at 30 b/c I have PCOS
