If my divorce papers are filed and we are in the process, but our divorce isn't finalized am I legally seperated?

    depends on the state but I would say yes, you are legally seperated.

    Look at the divorce paperwork.  There was a section in my documentation that said i was legally separated as soon as the paper was filed with the court.
