What do new moms eat?

I honestly know very little about babies and pregnancy, and the first of my friends just had her first baby yesterday. I am visiting her over the weekend and I'd like to bake something to bring over. Is there anything in particular that new moms who are breastfeeding should or shouldn't eat? She doesn't have any allergies to food. Thanks for your help!

The same thing you eat! Maybe avoid really spicy food if she is nursing.

Finger foods are great. Sometimes its difficult to use utensils and hold a new baby at the same time. And some babies need to be held quite a bit.
