Since the weather has been nice this week, I decided to finally get my bike into the shop (oh, and I might need a functioning bike if I ever want to follow through on the whole triathlon thing).
It's nice out today so we decided to walk our bikes there - it's a little over a mile. I thought about looking the hours up before DH and I left, but he was ready to go already when I got home from work today so I didn't.
They close at 5pm on Tuesdays .... I didn't even leave work until 5:10. So, instead of walking our bikes back we have them locked to a bike rack outside the store. I'm sure it will be a laugh for everyone who was parked there for the group ride when they come back on their fancy bikes. They are both rusty and have completely flat tires. DH's bike is 15 yrs, mine is 10, and neither of them have been used in the 8 years we've known each other.
5 minutes on the internet is all it would have taken to figure out that we should take them in tomorrow.
