Anyone buy a ring sling off of Etsy?

I've been wanting one for a while and I finally found one that I LOVE!  But I'm a little hesitant because...well I don't know.  I guess that is isn't an "official" store and I will be putting my baby in it, after all.  Please calm my irrational fears...

I keep thinking that the sling recall (that sling always looked dangerous to me anyway) was a commercial product and look how that turned out, so my judgement can't be too bad.

Ask questions.  Where do the rings come from?  Aluminum or Nylon?  There is a lot of good information about sling rings at www.slingrings.com.  Ask about the material that is used, what kind of material is used?  What is the weight of the material?  Where does it come from?  If it is a lightweight cotton is the material doubled or is it single?  You can learn a lot about ring slings, their construction and anatomy at www.sleepingbaby.net  You want to make sure that you get a sling that is safe for your baby.
