Does your LO grind their teeth?

DD has two bottom teeth and her two top teeth are coming in -- both broke the skin and one is almost completely in.  I noticed the other day that she has been grinding her teeth.  I think she is also working on some more.

If your LO grinds their teeth, did you discuss this with your pedi at all?  And if so, is there any concern?  I'm guessing there is really nothing you can do about it, am I right?

DD did that for a while after her top teeth came in (maybe for a month or two), but she stopped after the novelty wore off. It's probably just a phase

DD goes through phases of doing this.  It drives me crazy, but there doesn't seem to be anything you can do to stop it.

DS also did it for 2-3 weeks after getting his teeth in. Novelty finally wore off after a while

Although it is very annoying to listen to, it's perfectly normal. Most kids will outgrow the habit without any damage to their dentition.
