My cousin...who has two boys and had a 3rd baby to try one more time for a girl...has flat out said her daughter will not be inot all that princessy and pink stuff. She will be into sports.
She is 5 months old. I told her that she will be what ever she wants to be, and they have no say over it. As i giggled and packed away all of dd's too small princess dresses and shoes to give Morgan in a couple of years.
Re: I'm really dreading the Hello Kitty birthday party.
Oh come on! And don't be a party pooper either!
I think B has chosen Strawberry shortcake

I feel your pain. I cringe everytime I see that kind of stuff. Although, like you, I am sure I will do it all up for DD because it's what she wants.
You're a good mom.
Yeah, sometimes I wonder where my daughter came from because I HATED pink, Barbies, all of that when I was a little girl.
But it is so fun to see how excited they are about the stuff they love, I know. We're having a tea party.
Just to fuel the fire...Build-a-Bear has a Hello Kitty you can build. DD had a gift card for there, we go and she immediately picks Hello Kitty.
And Hello Kitty is kinda rocker - we have a puzzle and she has a heart tattoo. LOL
Your being a great mom being so enthusiastic and all even though its killing you inside!
