I just have to share this story.  There is a woman I used to be friends w/ (operative word - USED).  She's just one of "those moms" that once she had a kid, EVERYTHING in her life was 100% him.  She felt to be a "good mom", she had to lose herself to being a mom.

When another friend got PG, this woman said to her "oh- just so you know, you don't have to start listening to kid music in the car right away.  You can wait a few months.  I started right away and later realized I didn't need to.".

I almost LOL'd.

LOL this women must think I am the worst mom in the world then, we still don't listen to kid centric music.  DS is perfectly happy with whatever we are listening to in the car.

LOL -- poor DD is still subjected to my "adult" music at 2 years old.  I guess your old friend wouldn't approve!
