Registry Help
I started our registry today and I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. There are so many choices for everything. I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but can anyone give some advice on the items below:
1. Which carriers/strollers are best?
2. What brand of bottles is best?
3. Any other helpful registry hints or things you wish you would have known

Have you checked out the book Baby Bargains? It is my baby registry bible. I has fantastic advice on everything baby.

Two words: Baby Bargains. Seriously, that book is awesome. Registering was very overwhelming for me. So what I did was sit down each night and say "ok tonight i'm focusing on infant car seats" and just look at those. I'd read the reviews on Baby Bargains, read reviews on BRU/Target online, and poll friends. From there, I'd make my decision. It took me a few weeks, but I started my registry really early - like around 15 weeks. I knew I wanted everything gender neutral so we could use it with future kids, so picking something pink or blue wasn't a big deal. GL!
Oh and if you have other girlfriends who are pregnant, stalk their registries! I found all sorts of cute things off friends' registries.
I am with everyone else. Go get the latest edition of Baby Bargains. It will make registering so much easier.
But to answer your questions- My fave stroller was the BOB jogging stroller and the Graco Snugride Snap-n-Go. We use Playtex drop-ins. I had several types of bottles to start off with. I wasn't sure which he would like best.
I used the Graco infant carrier and stroller combo. Dr. Browns Bottles. Pottery Barn had a helpful registry check list.?

And yes, to ditto dleigh, we are also using a BOB Revolution Stroller, Graco Snurgride 32 infant seat, Graco snap-n-go frame (for short quick trips), and Playtex Drop-Ins

I don't know if there is a "best bottle". I think it all depends on what your LO likes. I only got a couple of gift sets of the bottles. I hope to nurse exclusively the first month, then slowly introduce bottle feeding so there will be no nipple confusion.
Once I have this baby, I may have some more advice for you. For now I'm just going on what my friends tell me!
This exactly. I was completely overwhelmed the first time I walked into BRU. Bought this book and started narrowing down my options. Everyone is going to give you different opinions and what worked for me may not work for you. Start with the book and then when you get it narrowed down to a few options come back here and we'll tell you the good and bad points of each :-)
