update on my DD, Avery

Hey ladies! I posted on Thursday about my daughter going in for a CT scan and the possibility that she might need anoter surgery... Well, we met with the surgeon on Friday, and unfortunately they are going to remove the left upper lobe of her lung. I am devastated. We scheduled surgey for May 25th. I scheduled it so far out because she has a dance recital on May 22nd that she has worked really hard for. Anyway, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. (And please excuse typos... I am writing this from my blackberry and some of the keys don't seem to be working)

    Our little miracle baby is a boy. :)

    Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

    I am so sorry to hear this.  I hope that she will be okay, and the surgery doesn't cause her too much pain.  I will keep her and your family in my thoughts and prayers.  ((hugs))

    I am so so sorry for what you are going through with Avery. Poor sweet little girl.

    Im glad that you scheduled it for after her recital. Im sure she will be excited about that.
