PF Questions

I am currently using the orange edge PF on our LO who is probaby about 8ish lbs now. I have noticed they have started toget "tighter" and I was wondering how long to expect he will wear them. I just use a regualr "old school" fold where I fold in the front portion before folding it up and bringing the sides over. Is there another fold to afford more time in the orange edge? We are traveliing next week and I am not sure if I should just move to the yellow edge before we go...I hate to bring both. Also we still have sposies from the hospital (swaddlers nb pampers) and they still fit him if that helps with his size. Thanks ladies

Have you tried fanning out the front so that there is more overlap room?  Mine still have room to grow on DS who is around 10 lbs now.  I fold down the rise a bit in the back, tri fold the front, and bring it up.  Then, I fan out the top portion and bring the wings around to the front.  voila!   GL!

I started to fan it out more, I will continue to do that...I just wasn't sure if it would make it hold less. Right now he only needs to be changed about every 2 1/2-3 hours, and will even go a stretch at night for 4 hours I don't want to mess that up!

I agree with fanning it out. I think it works well fanned. Our orange edge fit until 10 lbs.
