Do you wash stuffed animals?

DS just now started to love his stuffed animals.  Do you put them in the washer?  Most tags just say to surface clean only, but I can't imagine that doing much good.  What do you do to clean them?

ds has a little stuffed bear in his crib. i throw it in the wash inside of the lingerie bag we use for his socks and dry in that as well.

I have put DD's stuffed animals in the washing machine on delicate cycle.  I also put them in the dryer on delicate and have not had any problems

I had a teddy bear that I washed in hot water on gentle and put it int the dryer to kill all allergens

I throw ours in the wash and have had no trouble yet. Sometimes if I think they are more delicate, I will put them in the middle of a towel.

Yep.  And some that are supposed to make noises, don't anymore.  Oh well.

Put them in a pillowcase (tied) and wash them.

I put DD's two bedtime bears in a pillowcase and wash them that way, since she tends to chew on those.  No fabric softener.

Yes.  I normally wash all of them after DS has been sick.  He also has a few that he really loves that get washed regularly.  I don't wash the ones with electronic stuff in them.

DD has a stuffed duckie that I wash all the time on the delicate cycle....works fine and he's still intact!

I was washing them by hand at first but then I threw them in the delicate cycle in both the washer and dryer and they came out fine
