Storyville in Rosedale/Woodlawn

Has anyone been to Storyville in either Rosedale or Woodlawn? What was your experience like? What age do you think is too young? I know the website says birth to 5 y.o. I'm thinking of taking DD there in May (she will be 7 months old). I also read that you need to get their early. How long has your wait been?

I have been several times.  There is a special section for non-walking babies that is sectioned off and has great exploring things for the babies to do.  I have only been to the one in Rosedale.  It has so much to offer.  The most I have ever waited was 15 minutes, but most of the times I have never had to wait.  I have gone on Sat late afternoons and pretty much no one has been there.  If you go during the week in the am, get there right when they open (I think 9am) otherwise around 10am is the busiest time and that is when I have had to wait.  You and your daughter will love the place.  There is a smaller version at the Honeygo library in White Marsh.

We have also been several times. The section for infants is petty small. I have never been in there but there are a ton of books and infant toys. The part for the toddlers on up is really nice. My dds love it. My 11 month old even had a good time last time I took her.

The only time I have ever had to wait was on weekends. I was just there 2 thursdays this past month and walked right in. Not crowded at all. I never see anyone in the section for little babies. 

Also if you have never been Story time is really cute. You have to call ahead and reserve your spot.

I have taken my 7 month old son twice now in the past week and a half.  We went to the one in Woodlawn as it is closer to my house.  I went once on a Thursday afternoon and then again today (Saturday) and we didn't have to wait.  My son loved it there.  He enjoyed himself so much that he actually army crawled for the first time when we took him there on the 18th.  He desperately wanted to be able to touch his reflection and so he army crawled his way right on over.  I think that you and your LO will have a great time!
