I need to take DD for swim lessons to become water safe. Not worried about her technique just yet (lol) but my ILs have a pool and she is way too curious. Does anyone know a good place?
We went and checked several places and LOVE Waterworks in Irvine. The classes are in a saline pool heated to 93 degrees. It doesn't stink like a chlorine factory (like some of the others) and they have a double diaper policy, which I found a little comforting. The facility is enclosed with these canvas walls and ceiling so you don't need sunscreen but it's well ventilated. We do the Parent and Me class with M and she LOVES it. Mostly teaching them about floating and playing. https://www.waterworksswim.com/

Well, this weekend we're doing a makeup class on Sunday but normally we'll do Tuesdays at 10:40. Actually DH will be doing the swimming and I'll be the psycho photographer on the side of the pool! They are really cute classes.

Re: Swim Lessons?
Hi Crissyjo, nice to see you on here again!!
I need recommendations too!!
Swim Venture in Laguna Hills (off Alicia and Hon) is awesome! It's indoor so you don't have worry about the weather or sunblock.

My cousin takes her little boy here, they really like it!
We've been going to Swim Safe Swim School in Orange and have been very happy with them. Our daughter is 4 and has been going for 2 years now.
