Pink and black available... $60.50 - 70.50 GL... I just purchased the organic black one for LO. I can't image DH using the pink one which I would totally prefer. LOL
I'm so happy you were able to get one. The website was down for maint. at 11am. I was running around screaming for it to get back online. I was sure it would sell out. Then I called DH to confirm that he would not wear PINK... I should have known better. Wished it came in a sage green, he might have been ok with that. Yeah right. I just hope LO will not be to hot in the black. What color did you get?

Thanks! I've thought about getting one so I went ahead and bit the bullet. I think it will still work for my current two and hopefully if we have another one. I really like the black one!

I have nothing better to do than lurk on babysteals.com.... I'm just counting down... 23 more days to go.
DH went to Northside Daddy Bootcamp last weekend and the instructor (a man) highly recommended the Ergo baby carrier, especially for men. The instructor has four kids. I had no problem getting DH to support me on this steal since he is the one that will mostly be using it. The instructor also goes on a lot of camping and hiking trips and swears that the Ergo it is the best for preventing backaches.

ok I have a bijorn(sp?) and I can barely wear ally in it. Do you really think you will use this thing up to 90lbs. I love the idea. Just wondering if we will usee it THANKS Just curious

I'm curious 2. Baby Bargains the latest edition highly recommended the Ergo vs the BabyBjorn. I did receive a BabyBjorn Carrier Active as one of my babyshower gifts.
What really sold me, DH attended a Daddy Bootcamp last weekend at NS. The male instructor informed him that the Ergo was a much more comfortable fit for TALL (DH is tall) men. He came home asking me did we have the Ergo on our registry because he WANTS one. I had to tell him that BRU and Target does not carry the line and that is it quite expensive. I have checked out their website in the past and I have never come across a sale like this.

I stopped wearing my daughter in the bjorn after about 3mos b/c it was just way too uncomfortable for me. Someone suggested the Ergo. I bought it about 2 months ago when my DD was 5 mos old and almost 16lbs. She's a little over 18lbs now, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ergo. I wear her on the front and in the back carry. My husband prefers wearing her on his hip. I've carried her around at the zoo, Home Depot (and seriously, we spend HOURS in there), etc. without ever feeling any strain on my back. She loves it too, and often falls asleep in it. If you can't tell already, I'm a huge fan.
Now, just to be clear, the Ergo will not allow a child to face out like the Bjorn does. Most babywearers contend that facing out hurts a child's spine and hip development, so for that reason a lot of carriers are going away from that.
And obviously I don't know for sure how comfortable it is with a 90lb kid (seriously, I can't even imagine carrying 90lbs), but I have seen several moms carrying 2-3 year olds (30-35ish lbs) on their backs.
