DH's Family is So Excited

I introduced myself many moons back, but I doubt you remember   We've been considering adoption for a while, but were focusing on infertility treatments.  We were gearing up for IVF #2, and I decided that I have had enough.  At that point, DH and I were talking about adoption more than IVF, so I felt like adoption was the right choice for us.

We made the decision on Monday, and Tuesday we selected a facilitator, had an initial conference call and scheduled our first meeting with them next week.  We've been working on our profile book and discussing our "tolerances" in greater detail.  It's been a whirl wind, but I feel 100x better than I did a week ago.  I finally have hope and excitement, as cheesey as it sounds.

And we've started sharing our path with our family and close friends.  DH's family is so over the moon excited for us and it makes me so excited.

TIA for all the questions I'm sure I'll have, and I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

Welcome I'm new here too but have been very warm welcomed. Congrats on your choice. I had so many doughts and questions but now our prince is here and all my crazy doughts and thoughts are gone. Now its just the normal crazy new parent stuff.
