He reacted the same at his 2, 4 & 6 mo shots. He cried for a couple of minutes and then was fine. Pouty but fine. He got 2 extra shots at his 6 mo too (seasonal & H1N1 shots). Good luck!

The worts was her two month shots. That night she cried for more than an hour. For the 4 months shot she cried for a couple of minutes and was as usual the rest of the day. With the 6 months, ahe only cried with one of the shots for seconds... but was more sleepy for the rest of the day... she slept for 7 hours that night! now she is back to normal
He actually calmed down faster then he did with his 4 month. It wasn't a big deal at all. In fact, this was the first time we didn't end up giving Tylenol.
We're on an extended schedule - meaning, she gets shots almost every month. She's gotten better and better each time, & easier to calm down. There's the initial scream, and then the wailing and whimpering, but she's calm within a few minutes and ready to go. Which is great, because the monthly shot thing is tough on my heart!!!!
