How long does Pink Eye last?

My mom was supposed to babysit Saturday night, but she got pink eye earlier in the week. She's been taking the antibiotic, but I wanted to know if she would still be contagious by Saturday night. Any idea??

Daycare will take her back after 24hrs of antibiotic. Should clear up in a couple days.
