Mac and Cheese success!

I made homemade mac and cheese for LOs today for dinner -- it was my first time making it, and they loved it! All was going well and they were gobbling it down, until Mister decided to chuck a whole handful at my sister, who had stopped by for a visit!  I couldn't believe the way he whipped it at her!  It was SO hard not to laugh and encourage it . . . but it was SO funny!

    I made a "rue" (that's what my mom calls it) using butter and flour, then added milk to thin it.  I added some Velveeta (which I wasn't really excited about, but it melts really easily).  Once it was melted, I added some peas, chicken, and halved whole wheat penne.  Way easier than I thought it was going to be!
