Is my dd a pervy Mcperv?

She has developed a new habit in the last week, grabbing herself!  When she's in the tub and when I change her diaper.  What's the deal with this, anyone's LO do this, am I a hypocondriac because the first thing I thought was maybe she has an infection (bladder?).

DD does this as well as soon as I take her diaper off. It's just them exploring and it's completely normal.

it's a totally normal developmental thing.  not a sign of a uti, per my pedi they don't feel a uti like we do.

It's a developmental milestone.  That's about the age when they discover other parts of their bodies they didn't realize they had.

It's completely normal and natural.  She's not a perv because of it and it's not likely that she has an infection.  Both boys and girls do it.

She's just exploring her body. It's a healthy curiosity.

I think that's pretty normal.  I am not looking forward to the day where Henry grabs himself all the time like some little boys do. haha

Haha, your title is funny. Halston started this around 5 months and I was creeped out too! Until I read that it was normal. She only did it for a week or so and she is over it now!

All kids do it, they discover other parts of their body all the time but since those parts are covered most of the time, they take advantage of those moments when they are uncovered.  To them it is just like any other part of their body.

Well boys grab themselves - so makes sense for girls to explore as well. Grant started doing this humping thing (think ... over-excited little puppy dog type humping) ... it's pretty crazy to watch - he especially does it when giving us a hug. lol
