Have you tried soy cheese? I miss cheese so much and I want to at least try substituting it to widen the variety of my diet. I've heard that it's horrible

C doesn't seem to be bothered by goat or sheep cheese, so I use a lot of goat cheese and manchego and pecorrino. For sandwiches, I use a brand of fake cheese called Veggy slices. I definitely wouldn't eat it by itself, but melted on a sandwich or a burger it's really not too bad.

I never even thought about goat cheese. Can you buy that at a regular grocery store? I will look for the Veggy slices too. Thanks!

I started goat cheese at 6 months and so far we haven't had any problems. You should find it in your regular grocery store. I am going to add sheep's milk cheese this weekend. I will wait to do a real dairy challenge until DD is a little older.
I think most big grocery stores would have goat cheese. It's soft and usually in a little log. Might be called chevre. If you've never had it, beware - I think goat cheese is often a love it or hate it kind of thing. I fall in the love it camp : )
The other stuff you might have to look a little harder for! I usually shop at a local organic market that has a ton of non-dairy alternatives.
