Babywearing help please...

Hi ladies. I was looking for a little advice on which type of carrier to purchase and I figured you ladies would know the answer! I am on a budget so I would appreciate some lesser expensive, SAFE, and easy to use recommendations. I will be using the carrier probably daily and our summers are warm so something lighterweight would be good. Thanks in advance for the advice.

 

p.s. My LO is on the smaller side. At almost one month old she weighs just over seven pounds..

For the next few months I say a moby for sure. I still use mine daily and C is 12.5 lbs. You should be able to get a used one for around $20-$25. Check on thebabywearer.com or on the swap spot board (there was just one posted in the past week or so for $20).

If you're looking for light weight for the summer check out the wraps by Gypsy Mama - especially her Bali Breeze ones.  They aren't that supportive for heavier babies, but that doesn't sound like it will be a problem for you for a while.  It's going to be a lot cooler than a Moby.
