Babies: 9 - 12 Months

LO doesn't jump in jumperoo?

Does yours? Not sure how to encourage or just not worry about it. He's been using it for about 2 months now. He'll play with the toys but seems to be a little board in there. I'm thinking about returning it for something else, but not sure what.

  • Do his feet touch the floor?  When DD first started using hers, her feet didn't quite touch the floor yet but once they did, she LOVED jumping up and down.  Just a thought.

  • be sure only his tippy toes are touching and not his whole foot.
  • We have a doorway jumper, and we dont' use it everyday, but DS just figured out how to jump yesterday! ?It was so cute. ?Before then, he just played with the toys and spun around, and loved it when I helped him jump but he didn't know how to do it by himself. ?
  • It took DD a few months to get it, now I'm afraid she will launch out of the thing some times!

  • DD didn't get it until she was about 7 months.
  • J won't jump either - he tries to walk.
  • DD only just started jumping in it about a week ago. she was way more interested in the toys and how they worked. then one day she got really excited, and started jumping, realized she could jump, and now jumps all the time.
