This will be the last time I post about my MIL and the whole baby girl name debacle, I promise...
As most of you know my first choice for our baby girl was Daniela Anne. My MIL did not like the name Daniela since it first came up during my last pregnancy and hounded my DH so much about it, he decided he no longer liked it either, so we were forced to start from scratch and come up with a new girl name we both agreed on, which was NOT easy.
Once we picked a new name we decided not to tell my MIL as punishment for ruining the whole "baby naming" experience for us. The suspense has killed her for three months now.
Everytime she asks about the name we play around with her and tell her we are naming the baby all these awful, made-up, you-neek names.
Well, aparently someone filled her in from the pic I put on FB that the baby's first name is going to start with the letter A and she is covinced that its going to be Avery (she heard the name somewhere and came up with that on her own).
Now I don't mean offense to the name Avery or anyone who likes it, but we are VERY Italian and I know that my MIL must be positively dying inside thinking that Avery is going to be her grandaughter's name. I'm sure right now she is wishing she had kept her mouth shut about the name Daniela.
She's been calling both me and DH several times a day to ask if she guessed right. It's so much fun hearing the fear in her voice, I'm almost sad that the whole thing is going to come to an end in two days!!
Re: LOL'ing at my MIL's expense (LOL!)
HAHA! LOVE IT!
As a prank, I'd buy the letters to complete the name AVERY and take a photo and email her! "Surprise, you guessed right! What do you think?" LMAO!

I agree and to really agitate her ...make it Avery Daniela!!
