Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Britax owners: Quick question.

What is the major difference between the Advocate, the Boulevard CS and the Marathon?  All three are rear facing up to 35lbs and up to 65lbs forward facing.

How did you decide on your carseat and what do you think about it?

TIA!

Re: Britax owners: Quick question.

  • We have the marathon. I was going by the grade it got in Baby Bargains. We love it. DD is a big girl and she is super comfy.

  • We have the Boulevard & just installed it this weekend. DS tried it out before we installed it and he loved it!  I chose the Boulevard because it had the knobs to adjust the straps without having to re-thread the harness like I've heard you have to do on the Marathons. It was easy to install and get a tight fit in the middle seat of my Altima.

    We got it at albeebaby.com

    This!

  • I just ordered the Boulevard from Albee Baby and I spent forever researching them first.  From what I can tell, the Boulevard vs the Marathon has True Side Impact Protection (the CS is the same except it has the Click Safe feature, which a lot of reviews said is worthless or doesn't work so I went with the regular Boulevard).  You can definitely tell just by looking at the two because it has kind of wings on both sides near the head.  I think some LO's like those and others don't because it blocks their view (DS likes to rest his head on them because his infant seat is the same way).  DS rides outboard in his seat, which is why I went with the Boulevard over the Marathon.
  • Thank you all so much!
