Recommend your baby gates

I have been reading the reviews online at BRU for several gates.  Please tell me which ones you have and like.  Looking for one that swings open and does not need to be drilled into the wall, if I can avoid it.

I know you said one that doesn't need to be drilled in but we LOVE our retractable gates. - we had on that was like you said that was tension between the walls. We used it pre-baby for our dog. We found that you had to put it tight to get it to stay and then it would remove paint on the walls when you would remove it.

This is great because they retract away and you don't have to worry about where to put it to remove. I guess if it was somewhere that you would want the gate up all the time - it woudn't be as good. But had to rave about these. Only wish the color was a little lighter - they are like an almontd - doesn't bother me as much anymore.

we have this one at the top of our stairs and the bottom and really like them.

I love the The First Years Hands Free Gate.   We have them going up and down stairs.

We have the dreambaby one and love it.  It swings closed behind you and easily latches shut, so you don't have to worry about fooling with it.
