AF question...may be TMI

I have an IUD, af has been really heavy since I got it. Anyway, I saoked through 2 pads since 6:30am. Is that a lot of blood to loose? Would you call you doc?

    The first and second day of mine are really heavy like that, so I don't think it's abnormal unless it continues to be that much for a long time. It might taper off more quickly now instead of dragging out for 5 or 6 days.

    I only had AF twice, but both times the first couple of days were VERY heavy.
