Is there a type that is more suitable for crawling/walking babies? I still envision us going to CDing when DD is on to more solids and definitely when we get closer to potty training. I really don't feel like buying those huge, expensive disposable diapers.
Re: s/o cloth diapering older babies
Every mom who CDs has different preferences of what works for them. It is hard to say which single brand works. It is much the same as disposables. My one sister swore by huggies and the other by pampers.
Anyway, I love my Bumgenius Organic All in One. It is one size, so DD at 17 months started on the medium setting then moved to the large setting around 22 months. She had outgrown them right before we started potty training though, as she was too tall for the rise of the diaper. We love the BG organic on DS now. I love that there is no pockets to stuff, no covers to put on, and it is much like a disposable in use but you wash it. I also find it very absorbent.
