I will, once I go back to work after maternity leave, although the boys will then be 2 1/2 and 6 months old at that time. I teach high school full-time. My husband works nights, so he has DS during the day now, and will have both boys when I go back to work. He goes to his job when I get home in the afternoon.

I will as well, I am also a high school teacher and will be going back in September when school starts again. The baby will be 3 months old and DD will be 20 Months. They will both go to a home DCP, she only watches my children so I am not sure if you would call it a DC but she is awesome. DH will drop them both off and do the morning routine at 8 like he does now and I will pick them up after school around 2:15.
I do. I work Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. My kids go to an in home day care down the street and they love it. I am not sure if you were looking for more infomation than that, but feel free to page me if you have any other questions.
Me...or I will be since #2 isn't here yet. My DH and I work together so we both work 4 nine hour shifts and a 4 hour shift. My mom watches DD on Monday and then she goes to daycare T,W,TH. I'm home with DD the first half of the day on Fridays. Then I go into work in the afternoon and DH takes over.
We can't afford daycare 3 days a week for 2 kids so we're trying to figure out what we're going to do when #2 gets here. I'm hoping my mom offers to take another day.

I am on maternity leave right now, but will go back to my FT job. I work M-F 6am-2pm. My DH works 6pm-6am in a 2 day on, 2 day off rotation and is at home with the girls while I'm at work. It sucks, but we can't afford daycare for 1, let alone for 2. DH started this job just after #1 was born.
I do. I have onsite childcare here at my work though. So they come with me and I get to see them during the day. But I still have to pay for it, its $195/week x 2. I also have a teachers schedule (but don't teach). I just had spring break last week, summers off, 2 weeks at Christmas, etc. Its really the best of both worlds! I will admit that by the end of last week I was ready to come back to work. I am just not cut out to be a full time SAHM. And my kids absolutely love being here with their "friends". (Its childcare only for faculty and staff here, so there are only about 35 kids total, in 4 classes, and I work with all of their mothers or fathers so it feels like a big family)
I am very happy with my situation. Perfect balance for me!
I work about 30 hours a week and DD goes to her grandma's houses while I am at work. So my mom watches her on Tuesday and Thursday and hubby's mom watches her on Monday and Wednesday.
If your a teacher ... there is no need to stress b/c many are overpaid - especially in NY and CA. With a teacher's salary paying daycare and the summers off - none of you should complain. I was watching HGTV the other night and there was this HS teacher who talked about how she travels to different countries each year and was buying a home in Italy while keeping her home in CA - she was in her 30's too.

I fail to see how this has any relevence to your original post or any of the replies??? Some of us did state that daycare was not affordable for our families and other stated they were teachers, but no one said they were a teacher and couldn't afford daycare. Does the teacher from HGTV have 2 under 2? Or is that part irrelevant to this post too?
I do. DS goes to daycare every day. I bring DD with me to work (I have a very lax employer). She will start going to the same daycare as DS in a month or so, or whenever I feel like she will be too much to handle while working.
DH and I both work FT and both of our kids have been in daycare since they were infants - 12 weeks and 10 weeks. They are now 2 and 3 1/2 and it works.

I do...some days it makes me sad. Other days, work is a relief.
Kids go to Primrose in our neighborhood.
