I really hope this is not going on in my backyard because we have far too many squirrels already. They run across the roof of our house all day and night!

I definitely thought you were paging someone here. I was like "how on earth did I miss that screen name" lol!

DH and I were recently curious about how squirrels take care of their babies since we never see baby squirrels, so we did some internet research. Turns out that when they are running around like fools chasing each other, it is part of the mating dance.

Also, male squirrels don't stay with the nest or help raise the young. Deadbeat dads!
