I was wondering when it would be a good time to make LO's first doctor appointment.

How old was are LO on he/her first doctor visit?

They automatically scheduled LO for a 2 week follow up

We saw the pediatrician 2 days after leaving the hospital and then again at 2 weeks

Are you still pregnant?  I ask because they asked us at the hospital who our pedi was and made sure we had our first appt. set up before we even went home.  We saw the doc at one week old.

DS saw a nurse at 4 days old. His jaundice levels were high, so then they scheduled us with a doc and we went back to the hospital overnight to get his bilirubin down. His next appt is at 2 weeks, 3 days.

We were told to call from the hospital. They had us go in at 1 week, then again at 2 weeks.

He went in at 5 days then again at a week.  The Dr offered us a 1 month check if we felt like we needed it, but I think the less time in a doctor's office the better.  We went in again at 2 months.

We had a 48 hour follow-up after being discharged from the hospital, and her first real appt was at 16 days old (2 week appt).

first appointment was 4 days old, than 2 weeks after that. The next one is his 2 month appointment.
