I had a few things to write about so put them all in one post. Reply to one or none whatever you feel..
1. I need to be nicer about drive-bys. I don't reply usually but every time I out loud say "I DON"T CARE"
2. Posts about TTC for 1 year or more made me think of a question. If you only have a few cycles in 1 year, like my 1st cycle is in the 90 day range now, is it just the calendar year that matters? (TMI- bc during this long cycle we kinda gave up EOD and are back to 1-2x/week, so DH doesn't think that counts as TTC)
3. Is an occasional AW of LO ok here. Obviously not going to AW every little thing, but LO took her first steps today and this is the only board I write on anymore.
4. HAHA I just AW'd in a deceptive way...
ETA: title so as to HOPEFULLY not upset or offend anyone
Re: variety pack post (incl an AW of LO)
Edit bc it posted too soon
Love & luck to my 3TC girls. Congrats to Omega-The boys are here!
If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
No you don't.
LOL, I read the post and the congrats replies and think, I'm never even going to fake interest, these women are so much nicer than me. Maybe my inability to fake interest has something to do with my limited number of female friends IRL.. haha
Ever since my m/c I can't pretend to be happy for the drive by BFPs. I love seeing BFPs from those that I know, but the constant drive bys just get old.
1. No you don't. I just try not to be mean.
2. I would go with the calendar year. Cycles that long can indicate a problem, so you may want to check with your doctor before a year if it happens again. After 60 days they will usually jump start AF.
3. YAY! That's so exciting (and I don't mind the deceptive AW). You may want to post something in your title to warn anyone that it may bother, though.

I will typically ignore them until the OP gets biitchy and self-righteous, demanding our congratulations.

I don't know what the "right" answer is, but I would think 1 calendar year or 12 cycles, whichever comes first. I have short cycles, so for me, 12 cycles will come before 1 calendar year.

Yeah, I would just put "AW: BR" for baby-related in the subject.
thanks girls.. title edited!
Your LO is adorable!

1) Eh, I figure if I don't have anything nice to say- don't say anything at all. I don't typically have anything nice to say about drive bys.]
2) 12 months or cycles, whichever comes first unless you have identified a specific problem that you need advice on such as a short (<10day) luteal phase, consistently annovular cycles, cycles that don't end naturally (in which case you're at the doc for provera anyway- might as well ask), a diagnosis that indicates fertility trouble (PCOS, Endo, etc- in which case again you should be under tha care of a doc and it doesn't hurt to ask when you see them) or you're over 35- in which case all of this get shortened to 6 months.
3) Aw, Your LO is adorable
