Anyone else excited for the New Moon dvd release?

I can't wait to buy it and watch it!  I saw it in the theater and I really liked it.  I made DH watch Twilight with me and he hated it so he refuses to watch New Moon even though I told him it was better than Twilight.

Oh well, I can get Edward and the boys all to myself then.

The only reason I liked Twilight better was that there was more Edward.  I didn't think the movie did the book justice.  They left out some of my favorite book moments.  I thought New Moon did a better job of telling the story from the book. 

I am so jealous that you are watching it now!  Another reason why I hate being at work today.

Yes, but DH is being stubborn and waiting to buy until all the movies are out, since they usually do some big package with extras at that point. At least I can rent. I am embarrassed to admit that DH and I are both huge Twilight fans.

Yes, Ma'am! Very excited. It's a plus that MH liked Twilight. Not sure if he'll like NM but we'll certainly be finding out.

I know it's so weird. I told him I wanted to read them to see what the big deal was and we ended up reading aloud them to each other. We have seen both movies twice. He is a proud member of Team Edward

Yup!  I'm excited.  I let DH watch Twilight with me and he made fun of it the whole time - so I think I will ban him from watching New Moon with me;)

 BTW - I'm a big True Blood fan as well; love your siggy Rebelina!

Edit:  Interestingly DH is a True Blood fan just not Twilight....

Movies didn't do book justice.. IMO Twilight was way better then New Moon, even though both movies just left details out that I thought made the books amazing

I pre-ordered it a month ago   Now I'm on pins and needles until the mail man comes.  He usually gets here between noon and one... but it's icing in Missouri today.  I live near one of the bigger interstates in our area and I can already hear ambulances, so mail may be delayed.

I saw the commercial the other day and told DH that we need to buy it.  Thats when he told me he already pre-ordered it.  He is a good guy

Me too! DH is picking it up on his way home from work. He hated Twilight, but he actually liked New Moon, so he'll watch it with me.

Im going to buy it today! New Moon was my least favorite book. But the movie followed the book so well! Twilight however is my 2nd favorite book, and I thought the movie was terrible! DH really liked Twilight though, he did not like New Moon. I dragged him to the movie theater to see New Moon! lol He doesnt want to come see Eclipse with me, after all the grils screaming over Jacob. I told him it would be better. Oh well!

DD and I went to the release party at Borders lastnight.  We are planning on watching it tonight when we go to my dad's for dinner.  Excited!!!  We all went together to see it in the theater, then dh and I saw it again in the cheap theater.  Can't wait to see it again!
